Our UV control film is designed to considerably reduce the harmful effect of UV light and is ideal to help protect museum exhibits and shop window displays from fading.
All printed and coloured items will eventually fade due to the sunlight, ambient air and pollution, but by applying UV control film on all glazed areas, you will greatly extend the lifespan of your precious items.
There are six factors affecting fabric fading:
- Ultraviolet Light
- Visible Light
- Heat and Humidity
- Chemical Vapors (including ozone)
- Age of Fabric
- Dye Fastness
No window film can eliminate fading. It can, however, offer maximum protection from fading due to solar ultraviolet light and solar heat.
Our film is widely used by heritage bodies, museums, art galeries and private buyers.
The UV control film is completely clear and can be used on most glass surfaces, including double glazed units and even picture glass. It is easy to cut and apply.
